NEW CELL CONSTRUCTION COMPLETE

A new landfill cell was recently completed at SECCRA Community Landfill. The cell covers 5 1/2 acres and was constructed with a state-of-the-art liner system that was installed to protect the soil and water at a cost of $3 million dollars. Environmental protection is a commitment which SECCRA is dedicated to, and this is one of the many ways we strive to protect and improve the environment in our community. This new cell should provide space for the community’s waste until 2011.
